We have been in Cody, WY the last 4 days and will move on tomorrow for Jackson, WY and the Grand Teton NP.
After arrival in Cody we had an orientation and a great buffet dinner in town. The next day a trolley tour, a visit and self guided tour of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. The evening entertainment was a Rodeo, our first, and a lot of fun.
Yesterday was a long day in Yellowstone NP. A gigantic park that cannot be seen in one day, so we opted to see a few of the highlights of the park some of which are shown in the above pictures. Still having fun.

We arrived at Devils Tower on Sunday July 17th.   You can drive to the base of the Tower  then there is a path that takes you to the base of the rubble and around the Tower itself. We made it about 1/2 way around. The closer you get the more impressive the Tower is. We are well and enjoying the caravan traveling with old friends and making new ones.

We are having a great time. The weather has finally improved, in the 90s today.  A bit hot but no rain. Yesterday we traveled a loop ( in a car ) that took us through Custer State Park and the Black Hills. Wild donkeys and a few antelope were the only wildlife encountered. Disappointing! Then on to the State Railroad Museum in Hill City.  In the evening we went to the Crazy Horse Memorial for a laser light show.

KOA campground Badlands, South Dakota. Arrived on July 12th. Will depart on the 14th

and head for Hill City KOA for three days. Good trip so far but have had a lot of rain. All is well.

Bear with me on this blog until I figure out how to do it correctly.

The Badlands are magnificent even in the rain. Put in a long day with our friends Joe and Clara Ellis,
 in and out of the car at every turnout and overlook. Took lots of photos but they start looking the same
except for the people in them.  Stay tuned in.
